Concentric lamellated psammoma-like bodies in the third ventricle of the European mole rat (spalax leucodon, Nordmann 1840).

M L Schmidt.

Abstract

Concentric lamellated bodies are described in the third ventricle of the European mole rat. These bodies show most staining characteristics of true psammoma bodies found in humans but were never calcified in the mole rat.
