Abstract
It is estimated that approximately 2% of the entire population harbors an intracranial aneurysm; most of these patients, however, will never become symptomatic. The incidence of aneurysmal rupture as a cause of subarachnoid hemorrhage is 10 per 100,000 per year. The primary purpose of treatment for ruptured aneurysms is to prevent the often fatal rebleeding.Entities:
