Infected pyelocaliceal diverticulum and sympathetic pleural effusion.

Abstract

The first reported case of an infected pyelocaliceal diverticulum associated with an ipsilateral sterile pleural effusion is presented. Partial excision and drainage of the lesion led to a return to normal of urinary and chest findings.
