Abstract
Posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction using a bone-patellar tendon-bone graft with double incisions has been described in the literature. We present the single-incision technique that may aid the surgeon in performing difficult PCL reconstructions and reduce the possibility of injuring the knee extensor mechanism. By using three proper portals, we have shown that it is possible to make a femoral tunnel and engage a bone peg of the graft in the tunnel without any extensor damage and without disturbing the divergence angle of the bony tunnels.
