Abstract
This article summarizes epidemiologic data available on work-related morbidity and mortality and describes the occupational health surveillance systems currently in use. The NIOSH top 10 priority occupational illnesses and injuries and the year 2000 objectives for occupational health are described. Finally, statistics regarding occupational medicine specialists are presented.Entities:
