Abstract
Fundus flavimaculatus is a peculiar bilateral retinal dystrophy with yellow-white flecks at the level of the retinal pigment epithelium. During a 9-year follow-up we observed the occurrence of an increasing number of chorioretinal punched-out spots in the posterior pole and midperiphery, with progressive development of subretinal fibrosis, in a young female patient. The possible etiopathogenetic aspects are discussed.Entities:
