Abstract
Multiple lesions of splenic hamartoblastoma were found incidentally in a 2- to 3-year-old crossbred sow. The predominant cells, characterized by extreme nuclear irregularity and hemidesmosome-like structures, were considered to be derived from reticular cells of the spleen, and demonstrated infiltrative growth. Their cytological atypism and growth pattern suggest that the present lesions are true neoplasms.Entities:
