Status of bovine tuberculosis eradication programmes in Europe.

Abstract

This paper reviews the development of bovine tuberculosis eradication programmes in the European Community. The rules governing trade in cattle in the European Community are discussed and the current status of bovine tuberculosis in the Member States is summarized.
