Abstract
The authors describe a case of tinea faciei occurring in a sixteen-year-old boy. The rash was localized to the face and upper chest and resembled a typical photosensitive disorder, resulting in inappropriate treatment for six months. Results of a potassium hydroxide preparation and culture from the surface scale confirmed the clinical diagnosis.Entities:
