Abstract
The authors describe the computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) characteristics of adamantinoma of the tibia in a 29-year-old man. Adamantinoma is a rare, aggressive osteolytic lesion occurring primarily in the diaphyseal portion of long bones. Because of its rarity the MRI features have been infrequently reported. In this case MRI provided more accurate information about the extent and invasiveness of the tumour than either plain radiography or CT.Entities:
