Abstract
Primary intraosseous carcinoma of the jaws is an uncommon lesion. The majority of these develop in preexisting odontogenic cysts. Three cases of primary intraosseous squamous cell carcinomas of the mandible and maxilla, with evidence of origin in the odontogenic cysts are described. The recent literature on carcinomas arising in jaws cysts is reviewed.Entities:
