Abstract
The authors report on a case of Paget's disease with hydrocephalus in an elderly female with a favourable result after ventriculoperitoneal shunt. The neurological examinations at the time of admission revealed mild dementia, ataxic gait and urinary incontinence. Skull X-ray, CT-scan and MRI showed hydrocephalus and basilar impression. The pathophysiological hypothesis is discussed and the technical difficulties during the shunt surgery are described.Entities:
