Abstract

The aneurysmatic bone cyst of the hand is a rare clinical entity. On the basis of a 13-year-old girl with affection of the second metacarpal, the problem is explained and the various possible therapies are discussed. After ample resection, we decided in our case to transplant a vascularized bone graft from the iliac crest. Until today, this procedure has not been described in the literature.
