Abstract
Tandem scanning confocal microscopy (TSCM) permits the noninvasive microscopic viewing of unstained, living, solid organs in real time. This article provides an overview of recent studies conducted by the author and other scientists, using TSCM and demonstrating its advantages in evaluating the histopathology of uriniferous tubules associated with normothermic renal ischemia, the nephrotic syndrome, and extracorporeal cold-storage preservation of kidneys.Entities:
