Management of acute aortic dissection associated with coarctation by a single operation.

L G Svensson1.

Abstract

Acute aortic dissection associated with significant coarctation of the aorta is a difficult problem to manage operatively. A patient is presented who had both a bypass graft from the ascending aorta to the abdominal aorta and insertion of a composite valve graft in one operation to solve the problem.
