Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of increasing the temperature on the ability of rectified turpentine oil to dissolve gutta-percha. Rectified turpentine oil was warmed to 158 degrees F and then exposed to gutta-percha. This resulted in a significant increase (p < 0.01) in the ability of rectified turpentine oil to dissolve gutta-percha.Entities:
