Abstract
Human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (hGM-CSF) was cloned into expression vector pIN III-ompA1 and expressed in Escherichia coli JA221. When supplementation with a minor tRNA(AGA/AGG)Arg encoded by the E. coli argU gene, the expression level of hGM-CSF was raised about 3-4-fold, although there is only one rare AGG codon in hGM-CSF cDNA gene.Entities:
