A case of metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma of the sphenoid sinus.

Abstract

A case of hepatocellular carcinoma with a solitary metastasis in the sphenoid sinus is described. The extreme rarity of the tumour and the problems of early diagnosis are underlined. The importance of endoscopic examination as a diagnostic procedure is emphasized.
