Abstract
The expression of transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatase CD45 is required for antigen-induced activation of T and B lymphocytes. During the past year, advances have been made in our understanding of CD45 regulation and its role in regulating Src-family members. The importance of CD45 in thymocyte maturation has been demonstrated through the generation of CD45-knockout mice.Entities:
