Abstract
Several techniques have been advocated to clean and shape pathologically involved root canal systems. Studies have shown that most of these techniques transport the original shape of the apical portion of the root canals. This article describes a step-by-step method, Passive Step Back Technique, which uses a combination of hand and rotary instruments to clean and shape root canals.Mesh：
