Abstract
A major role of imaging in the evaluation of hepatic tumors is to assist surgeons in the preoperative determination of the feasibility of hepatic resection. Although the segmental location of tumors is not the sole criterion for determining resectability, such knowledge is useful for preoperative planning of the type of resection. This essay illustrates the surgical segmental and subsegmental anatomy of the liver as shown by spiral CT during arterial portography (CTAP) with multiplanar reformation.Entities:
