Abstract
We present a rare case of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1) involving the liver in a 15-year-old girl. Abdominal ultrasonography revealed infiltrative hypoechoic masses around the porta hepatitis and intrahepatic portal branches. CT also revealed extensive low-attenuation masses in the hepatic hilum and retroperitoneum. The tumor spread into the liver along the portal vein. It should be borne in mind that the liver may be involved by neurofibromas in patients with NF-1.Entities:
