Abstract
Traditional treatments have drawbacks and are not fully effective for all patients suffering from migraine headaches. Rational-emotive therapy (RET) may prove beneficial as a complementary treatment to medication and biofeedback in the management of chronic migraine headache. This article explains RET and provides a rationale for its use in migraine therapy. A case study illustrates RET in action. Research studies of RET with migraine patients are discussed.Entities:
