Tracheal rupture after tracheal intubation.

Abstract

Tracheal rupture is a rare complication of tracheal intubation. We present a case of tracheal rupture which was diagnosed 20 h after a smooth intubation sequence and uncomplicated anaesthesia. Possible causes are discussed with reference to cases described previously.
