Abstract
A six-year-old boy presented with extraoral eruption of a mandibular permanent canine and a loosely attached lateral incisor in the labial vestibule, 3 months following trauma to the chin. The trauma not only caused displacement of the permanent tooth buds, but also resulted in transposition of the lateral incisor and canine with subsequent ectopic eruption. The case is presented to demonstrate one of the infrequent complications of trauma involving the unerupted tooth buds of permanent teeth and its unusual clinical presentation.Entities:
