Abstract
A study was carried out in order to determine the level of contamination with helminth eggs in different sectors of the city of La Plata, Argentina. A total of 351 fecal pools were collected from streets (328) and parks and public places (23) of this locality. Of these fecal pools, 117 (33.3%) contained eggs of at least one helminth species. The overall frequencies found were: Uncinaria sp. 16.0%, Trichuris vulpis 9.7% and Toxocara canis 10.5%.Entities:
