Abstract
A low molecular weight polysaccharide has been isolated from the rhizome of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels (Umbelliferaer). It has a molecular weight of approximately 3,000 and consists of protein (4.73%) and carbohydrate (85.85%) of which 5.2% is uronic acid. It shows strong anti-tumor activity on Ehrlich Ascites tumor bearing mice. It also exhibits immunostimulating activities, both in vitro and in vivo.Entities:
