Abstract
Pediatric intensive care units have contributed considerably to the management of children with severe diseases and life-threatening conditions. The use of mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, and indwelling catheters increase the risk for nosocomial infection. Improving infection control practices and surveillance can significantly reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections.Entities:
