Abstract
A 13-year-old boy suffered cerebrovascular complications after heart transplantation (ischemic mass effect in the posterior cranial fossa). He had to be resuscitated from cardiac arrest with coma. After a modified cerebellar hemispherectomy the course was favorable.--The most conclusive explanation for the acute event is that a Cushing response was preserved even in the presumably denervated heart.Entities:
