Abstract
The analysis of mutations that disrupt egg laying by the Caenorhabditis elegans hermaphrodite has identified genes that are required for the long-range migrations of two cell types, the hermaphrodite-specific neurons and the sex myoblasts. Molecular analysis of some of these genes indicates that transcription factors and signal transduction molecules are necessary for the migrations of these cells.Entities:
