Abstract
Five patients with vision-threatening periocular capillary hemangiomas were treated with topical clobetasol propionate cream. Two received steroid eye drops. All experienced a decrease in the size of their hemangioma. Topical treatment of periocular capillary hemangioma appears to be well tolerated and, in selected cases, may eliminate the need for intralesional injection of corticosteroids.Entities:
