Abstract
Cavernous angiomas are vascular malformations that can occur in several compartments of the spine. Depending on their location, these lesions present particular clinico-diagnostic findings, and may require different modalities of treatment. The authors report a series of 10 patients with vertebral, epidural, subdural extra- and intramedullary cavernous angiomas. Clinical and radiological features, as well as surgical results of this series are presented. The different modalities of surgical treatment of cavernous angiomas variously placed along the spine are discussed.Entities:
