Preliminary report: effects of female sex hormones on insulin secretion by the perfused rat pancreas.

M T SutterDub.

Abstract

The effects of progesterone and oestradiol on insulin secretion were studied with the perfused pancreas technic. 1. Progesterone did not affect-glucose induced insulin secretion directly. 2. OEstradiol increased insulin secretion directly.
