Safe repair of umbilical fascial wounds after laparoscopy.

Abstract

Closure of laparoscopic trocar site wounds reduces chances of incisional hernias. Injury to subjacent small bowel loops is a problem during the repair of fascial wounds. A simple and safe technique of fascial closure is described.
