Abstract

Using the unlabeled antibody peroxidase-antiperoxidase (PAP) technique at the electron microscopic level, it was demonstrated that the hormones of the posterior pituitary of Rana temporaria are located in separate vasotocinergic and mesoticinergic nerve fibers. This observation confirms the results of our previous immunocytochemical studies at the light microscopic level.
