Abstract
A protocol has been developed for quality assessment in in vivo NMR spectroscopy (MRS) on whole body and animal systems. The protocol, which has been evaluated in a series of international trials, defines procedures, objects and substances to evaluate the localisation of common slice and volume selection sequences, and to assess other relevant aspects of system performance, including: signal-to-noise; signal loss; relation between signal strength, concentration and volume; selective suppression of spectral lines; spectrometer stability.Entities:
