MMPI-168 and Marlowe-Crowne profiles of adoption applicants.

J E Dalton1.

Abstract

The MMPI-168, Marlowe-Crowne, and Shipley were administered to 14 Caucasian couples as part of a pre-adoption screening procedure. The sample of adoption applicants was well educated and of above-average intelligence. Test data indicated a high level of defensiveness. Implications for test interpretation are discussed.
