Abstract
Ten new oleanane-type saponins, polygalasaponins I-X, along with two known saponins, bayogenin-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and lobatoside B were isolated from the aerial part of Polygala japonica Houtt. The structures of these compounds were established on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence.Entities:
