J V Cannova1, D M Krummen, O O Nicholson.

Abstract

Perforated appendicitis can be associated with pneumoperitoneum and diffuse peritonitis in the rare surgical patient. In this review we will discuss two cases of appendicitis that presented with free air on upright chest roentgenogram.
