Abstract
Abdominal malignant mesothelioma was found in a 17-year-old, spayed female Japanese domestic cat with mast cell leukaemia. The mesothelioma was mainly located at the periphery of the pancreas, spleen and stomach, and showed metastases to the lung, an anterior mediastinal lymph node and lymph ducts in the tracheal mucosa. Micro-circulatory defects caused by the mast cell leukaemia may have been partly responsible for the distant metastases.Entities:
