Abstract
Most laparoscopic complications occur as a result of creating and maintaining a pneumoperitoneum and the blind insertion of the first trocar. Thus, it is the complications of the laparoscopic approach rather than the complications of the laparoscopic technique for a specific condition which should be considered. The hazards and the incidences, causes, prevention and management of these complications are discussed using the experience of the author and reported data.Mesh:
