Abstract
The authors report the case of a 1,500-g baby boy with microgastria, vascular ring, tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), and the VATER association. Despite repair of the TEF and placement of a gastrostomy tube, he failed to thrive and had recurrent bouts of aspiration pneumonia. Gastric augmentation at 8 months of age resolved the feeding problems, and he now has a normal diet.Entities:
