Productivity and workload measurement in ambulatory oncology.

B R Medvec1.

Abstract

The future of ambulatory patient classification and workload analysis will depend on the development of an accurate model of data collection, analysis, and reporting. The roles of ambulatory nurses and the delivery of ambulatory services is a foundation for tool development. The development of a consistent productivity system will make it easier to manage resource allocations and to determine appropriate staffing and space allocation.
