Abstract
Since the publication of the seminal paper by Capgras and Reboul-Lachaux more than a dozen varieties of delusional misidentification have been reported in the psychiatric and neurological literature. Although subjected to increasingly sophisticated scrutiny, continuing confusion and disagreement over terminology, delineation of phenomenology and nosology hamper the systematic study of these phenomena.Entities:
