Abstract
A case of pneumatosis cystoid intestinalis associated with duodenal ulcer and pyloric stenosis is reported. Review of literature revealed that, this is the first reported case in the Sudan and in Africa at large. The clinical presentation of this patient was confusing and it seems reasonable to consider pneumatosis in the differential diagnosis of pneumoperitonium associated with duodenal ulcer to avoid unnecessary laparotomy.Entities:
