Abstract
A 50-year-old man with long standing ankylosing spondylitis developed cauda equina syndrome, which was found to be coexistent with a spinal arterio-venous malformation. Paraplegia ensured following an acute exacerbation of back pain along with an attack of uveitis. Vasculitis changes were found on resected abnormal vessels.Entities:
