Abstract
A 32-year-old woman with a 6-year history of urticaria, acute anterior uveitis and mesangial glomerulonephritis developed bilateral pleural effusion. A thorough laboratory workup during repeated attacks of concomitant urticaria and bilateral pleural effusion together with the histopathological finding of the skin biopsy revealed normocomplementemic leukocytoclastic vasculitis. Bilateral pleural effusion should be included in the clinical spectrum of urticarial vasculitis syndrome.Entities:
