Abstract
Extracorporeal knot tying is a method of avoiding the difficult and time-consuming skill of intracorporeal knot tying and can be equally effective. An endoscopic Babcock clamp can be used instead of the usual knot-pusher devices so that the suture material does not become dislodged. The Babcock clamp lays the knot flat and applies equal traction on each end of the suture.Mesh:
