Abstract
A total of 151 isolates of gonococcal urethritis were processed for antibiotic susceptibility pattern by single disc diffusion technique. 17.88% isolates were found to be penicillinase producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Only 82.12% and 94.04% of the isolates were sensitive to penicillin and gentamicin respectively, whereas all the isolates were sensitive to fluoroquinolones namely norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin.Entities:
