Abstract
Disposable and planned replacement lenses have become increasingly popular options for contact lens wearers. Optometrists must devise management strategies to avoid the many problems that have emerged from the use of these lens modalities: inappropriate patient selection, reduced frequency of eye examination, oversupply of lenses, improper policies for the release of contact lens prescriptions, and inadequate documentation of service contracts. Suggestions are offered to avoid these common management problems.Entities:
